We hope this meeting place in cyberspace will function as a hub for activities of the Cutlip Family Association and friends. Our objective is to be a place where old friends meet and new friends are made.
Not Just a Genealogy Site!
True, many of the founding members came in contact with each other while climbing around in the Cutlip Family Tree. As we discovered others of similar interest we started writing each other over the Internet. Being distant cousins ... third, fourth, fifth, and even more remote ... we began to talk about our particular branches of the Cutlip Family Tree and found we had more in common than we may have thought.
Little by little we began to share not only about our dead relatives but about our living ones as well. Photos were shared. Information about Cutlip reunions in various places was exchanged. Slowly, we were "bonding" into a community -- a Cutlip community -- an association of Cutlip families and descendants. (And, some friends along for the ride.)
It's a Progressive Family Reunion
(that fits your schedule)
In the past, time, distance, and expense conspired to keep us from being with our aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters, in-laws, outlaws, and various other kith and kin. But things have changed.
Now, the Internet makes it possible to contact family instantly and locate long-lost cousins you haven't seen in decades ... even cousins you didn't know you had! So, join the fun! Look around! Play around! Leave your mark!

Long preparation leads to a short -- and smooth -- trip through the falls.
MCCOY -- Mike Cutlip can't remember where the idea came from.
Sometime last weekend, it worked its way into his head. Almost a dare.

Marlinton’s Cutlip wins Junior golf title
|
|
a friend writes " Marlinton’s Dustin Cutlip bested Morgantown’s John Brautigam
2 and 1 to win the state Junior Match Play Championship Sunday at Edgewood. A 12-foot par putt on No. 17 proved to be the difference for Cutlip. Cutlip needed 22 holes to eliminate Charleston’s Christian Brand in the semifinals, and Brautigam topped Moundsville’s Joey Darmafall 4 and 3. -- May 09, 2005 -- WVGazette.com "
